4th Intake REM+ students, academics, and representatives from the UPV/EHU, EVE, Basque Government and associate partners, gathered for the opening session of the Master in Offshore Renewable Energy that took place 22 January at the School of Engineering of Bilbao. After a warm welcome by Dr. David Boullosa, Vicedean of Continuing Education and Postgraduate of the School, Dr. Iñaki Zabala, from Sener, talked about Career options in offshore renewable energy. The guest talk was given by Mr. Jose Ignacio Hormaeche, Director of Teh Basque Energy Cluster, about Offshore wind power: a critical opportunity for European industry.
After the lecture, we gathered for a group photo and had time to interact during the cocktail.
