The XI Marine Energy Conference will be held in Bilbao, at the Faculty of Engineering, next May 28. The Conference is organized by JRL-ORE and Euskampus Fundazioa with the support of the University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU, Tecnalia and BCAM.

In this edition the Master REM+ will collaborate financing the talk of Dr. Luca Mendicino, from Techfem and the italian association ASSOAERO, that will deliver a key note about “Offshore wind scenario in Italy: Current state of the sector, key challenges and critical issues”. Besides, a visit to the Flume Lab has been organized during the lunch.

Researchers and Industry will have the opportunity to discuss about the most recent research activities, ongoing and new collaborative projects and potential market of the innovations in Offshore Renewable Energy in the Basque Country.

The conference aims to find a common ground between research and industry needs in the field of Offshore Renewable Energy in the Basque Country.
